Hamilton on pole

Lewis Hamilton is on pole in Abu Dhabi, edging out the Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. Rubens Barrichello is fourth ahead of Jenson Button, Jarno Trulli, Robert Kubica, Nick Heidfeld, Nico Rosberg and Sebastien Buemi.

Lewis Hamilton continued to dominate in the Q2 seassion in Abu Dhabi, beating Sebastian Vettel by three-tenths of a second. Jenson Button was third. Mark Webber was fourth from Trulli, Barrichello, Buemi, Kubica, Heidfeld, Rosberg.
OUT went Kimi Raikkinen, Kobayashi, Kovalainen, Nakajima and Alguersuari.

Hamilton from Button in Q1

Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button were 1-2 in the Q1 session in Abu Dhabi with Jarno Trulli third, ahead of Robert Kubica, Nick Heidfeld, Rubens Barrichello, Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber, Heikki Kovalainen and Nico Rosberg.

Heikki Kovalainen set the fastest time of the second practice session as dusk fell in Abu Dhabi with a best lap two-tenths of a second ahead of his McLaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
