There as been a few stories today about an FIA season guide that has been posted on the official website which does not include Sauber. I asked the FIA whether this was significant or not and was told that the team “will be in the final version of the entry list we publish this week”. It seems that the team was left off as some elements of the guide were created before the necessary announcements had been made. One notes, also, that Vitaly Petrov does not appear on the FIA list of drivers at the moment.
Sauber says that: “The FIA issued the entry list on November 30, and we received our entry not before December 3. Since then, the FIA never issued an amended list (maybe because of the uncertainty with some of the new teams). The bottom line is; everything is fine with our entry.”
There you have it.

Hi Joe.
I spoke to a source, can´t reveal too much, but he said the reason is simple. The list was published on November 30th, but Sauber wasn´t granted an entry until December 3rd.
the FIA’s paperwork seems to take an interminable amount of time. are they a branch of the US government?

Hi Joe,
any news on Sauber’s likely sponsors? The car looks a bit…well…naked!
See you in MEL on the 29th.
Cheers

I think some kind of link with Santander is foreseen and there was talk of Nespresso.
I hope their entry is just Sauber and not BMW Sauber as they have still been up till now
And once again, who started this stupid *news* article, hmmm let me guess….
Wow, if it is Nespresso as their sponsor expect 2 things in the paddock: Darn fine instant coffee AND George Clooney (the face of Nespresso). Good fit, fits F1 viewers demographics. Fingers crossed for the team on that.
USF1 to be sponsored by Maxwell House?
