Crane delays Porsche race

May 27, 2012 by Joe Saward

A bizarre situation has developed overnight at Monaco where a 60- ton crane is stuck at the Anthony Noghes corner just before the start finish straight with a seized axle. The Automobile Club de Monaco found a solution, but the start of the Porsche Supercup race was delayed by 15 minutes while the blockage was removed.

Surely they have some of the best mechanical engineers in the world on hand just itching for an unusual problem to solve.

      Ah yes but who pays?

Does that mean I can take my time getting to my seat for the Porsche race?

One race, one British winner. An omen? Probably not

Two races, two British winners. Relevant? Still no.

But you never know. Lewis Hamilton? Or a Jenson Button miracle?

From ianparks on twitter:”Lewis & Jenson have written get-well letters to a McLaren fan who broke back and left leg in a fall from a grandstand that gave way on Thurs”
They hushed that up well! It sounds serious and likely to be expensive for the stand builder.

Well that’s plain strange. But in good news, apparently the Facebook IPO cockup problem has been deciphered, so Bernie can go ahead. Or find another excuse. The poor guy who wrote this even wasted his time at Downing street trying to explain how the markets, well, aren’t fair markets any more.

http://www.nanex.net/aqck/3170.html for the gory details, but for all that, rather simple details. You really don’t need to know all the jargon to suss this one out.

    Was Schumacher driving it?

Must have been driven by Michael Schumacher.

Next year there will be a crane to pick up broken cranes.

Joe, what with your interview on Sky at Monaco, and later seeing Ron Howard also on Sky talking about Rush…. if he and you have not met already, could certainly see that video clip and your book put in his hands. Could be a fine candidate for a film.

I think it is because there is something need to fix in there but for all people for sure they are annoy to those crane.
