First, my reaction when I saw that Fiat 500, Joe, was a Nelson Munt 'Ha, ha!' I'm afraid. I guess that's because we both escaped the circuit without the usual truckie road block last night. Too good to be true. My roadblock today was a superfat creature (sex indecipherable) doing 20 kmh all the way from Cap d'Ail to Cap Ferrat. Dammit if I didn't pick it up again when I left Cap Ferrat an hour later...

Re all the comments about GP+, thanks. Feedback is always useful, but it's much better when it's positive and kind! The good thing about the + is that it 'enables' us to go off the F1 piste every so often, with the criteria being that it has to be potentially interesting to our readers. Those Thunderboats that Russ helmed are NOT for the faint of heart!

I seem to have stirred up a nest (hornets or vipers) by running the Vettel and Ferrari rumour - and that's all it is, a rumour - in the Indy on Sunday. Christian Horner told me Seb's "under contract" but said nothing else while we were watching the World Series race in the Caterham (and for the duration) Arden garage, but he forgot to deny the other suggestion I made that Lewis is desperate to drive an Adrian Newey car in 2013... Joe and I firmly believe Mark will be at Fandago in 2013.

Finally, don't write off other Lewis - Williamson - (is that not one hell of a fast name?) despite his World Series problems. They are still sorting the Caterham Arden car. Good to see that by the end of Sunday's race he was within half a second of much more experienced team-mate Alexander Rossi's times (1m 24s), but the team is still a fair way off ISR and Lotus who were doing 1m 23s).

Great issue people! Personally, left the GP bit and really enjoyed the Qually and Practice. However, the piece about 1933 GP has made me get out my Chris Nixon books and the appreciation of Russ Schleeh was the business. I've now boned up on him and the Flying wing. It's called passion and thank you. H.

Your rapid production of interesting content is of far better quality than the race. I think it is about time we found the little boy who can tell the emperor he has no clothes. It might be fun for those who are there nibbling on their canapes but it is a very poor circuit for those who are watching from afar.

Congratulations to Dario.
