enough of the Button puns already! They’ve all been terrible
AS i often say to the few who whinge, if you don’t like the puns I am not forcing you to read them. I am sure you can find endless dull websites to read elsewhere.
You do put them in the title! How are we supposed to ignore them!
Good report, Joe, enjoyed reading it.
Ah, I had “Button presses on to victory” as a contender.
I see your talent Sir!
Another punter here concocted the excellent,,, “Jensen Not Intercepted!”
Aside:
I’d be interested in reading opinions of how the experiment of Jacky Ickx to interview drivers turned out…
It has been happening for the last few races and I think it is a rubbish idea.
Has it usurped the normal formal post-podium interviews or is it an extempore addition, like the Grid Walk?
Wimbledon made a good move with the Field of Battle interviews on Centre Court.
Though I could see, F1 hot-heads may be best chilled before serving, and the normal formal setting allows for that.
Why don’t you like them so far Joe?
PS. Red Bull’s brand is a wall-to-wall media presence over here in Asia for the worst reasons…
Because they are not natrual at all. The drivers seem stilted and uncertain. Button said as much during the interview at Spa. In addition, having these things done by old drivers doe snot work because some of them are lousy interviewers.
I still don’t like that format at all, I far prefer the more official way it used to be and still is after qualy. I am always nervous that the top three might not show proper respect for the illustrious figures now chosen to be the interviewer.
Enjoyed the 1970s Indy pictures….terrifying to think of those speeds, those walls, and 1970s safety. Any chance of some more?
AWOL instead of Jawohl….
Very funny Joe. A great phrase!
