A reminder about the F1 Audience in London

February 26, 2013 by Joe Saward

There are still a limited number of tickets left for Formula One fans who would like the chance to get a unique insight into Formula One at the Audience with Joe that is planned for Friday, March 1 in London. This is an opportunity to get unique insights into the F1 world from one of the sport’s leading journalists and at the same team meet other F1 fans in a convivial atmosphere, with a few drinks and a buffet dinner. There will be a short introduction, but after that everyone will get the chance to chat with Joe, who has not missed a Grand Prix since 1988 and who has all the latest inside information from the sport.

The Audience will take place on Friday, March 1, at the New Moon Pub in the City of London. It is located at the entrance to Leadenhall Market, at 88 Gracechurch Street, London, EC3V 0DN.

The event will run from 7pm-11.00pm and a buffet dinner will be served mid way through the evening.

Tickets cost £35 per head. Drinks will be available at normal bar rates.

I’m gutted I’m missing this. I wait 3 years for the second London based event and I’m pre-booked on the day in question.

Hope it’s a good one and I’ll be there next time.

If all goes well, I will do another London Audience in the week before the British GP in June.

Joe has indicated he’d be interested in doing “An evening with Joe” in New York, are there any readers who would be interested in attending?

    • on February 26, 2013 at 8:41 pm Joe Saward

      That depends on timings.

      • on February 26, 2013 at 9:08 pm MG

        I certainly would.

Any idea of numbers attending, Joe?

We’ll be there on Friday, looking forward to it.

It will be close to a full house

Sounds good, we are coming down mid-afternoon, going to have a wander round before it starts, and trains are much cheaper at that time of day….

Are you doing a silverstone one this year?

    • on February 26, 2013 at 8:37 pm Joe Saward

      No.

Joe, on the off-chance you’re keeping track of interest in France, I’d be keen to attend if you do an evening “on home turf”.

I’d love to come but sadly can’t this time. I hope it’s a great success.

Thanks Joe for a great evening. As well as a social event par excellence, we all found your ‘take’ on F1 incisive and gave us an insight that we never see or hear of anywhere else. Roll on the next one. Thank you.

A superb evening and highly recommended. Intelligent questions opening up a wealth of knowledge with a few laughs along the way.

Extra points for dealing with an unexpected technical hitch in a resourceful way

We both thoroughly enjoyed the evening, very good and some interesting questions being asked.

Got home just before 2am. Tired but happy.
