Great news! About time Kamui got a decent drive when utterly useless drivers like Jaime, Buemi etc etc get to drive because of backing sponsors. We need more racers like Kamui.

This lad will be the surprise of 2010 I tell ya.

@ all asking about David Richards and Prodrive, I would have to say I assume his bid did not win for either lack of money, or timeframes on name changes. Renault probably wants to have a foot in with their name, and if it turns well they can buy back some in a couple years time. With Richards it seems obvious that he would be changing it to Aston Martin at some point down the line, be it this year or after the new concord in 2015.

The reason I think Toro Rosso is not likely to be sold as he said earlier that he wanted a buyer to keep it in Italy. Not as easy as many want teams in Britain. Just a thought.

I am pleased to hear this news. His performances in 2009 deserved this reward. I hope he continues to be as exciting in 2010 (but maybe not quite as gung-ho).

I am very happy he has a F1 seat for the coming season; he deserves it. He made my list of favorites with his performance in Brazil. I’ll always remember Button crying on his radio about how Kobsayashi wouldn’t let him pass.
