The afternoon rains in Singapore meant that the street circuit was damp in places for the third practice session for the Grand Prix and so there were some strange results at the end of the hour with Sebastian Vettel leading the way from Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Felipe Massa, Nico Rosberg and Mark Webber. Nico Hulkenberg was seventh ahead of Robert Kubica’s Renault and the Force India of Adrian Sutil. The top 10 was completed by Sebastien Buemi in his Toro Rosso. Next up was Vitaly Petrov, ahead of Rubens Barrichello, Jenson Button, Jaime Alguersuari, Michael Schumacher and Tonio Liuzzi. Behind him were the two Saubers of Nick Heidfeld and Kamui Kobayashi and the Virgin of Timo Glock, ahead of Heikki Kovalainen’s Lotus, the second Virgin of Lucas di Grassi, Jarno Trulli’s Lotus and the HRTs of Christian Klien and Bruno Senna.
