In my opinion the only mockery would be allowing a car that was known to be in breach of Technical Regulations to be classified as a finisher rather than excluded. Lewis did totally dominate and finished the race distance in the least amount of time. Doesn’t matter with technical breaches.
Completely agree with you about Lucas. This is why it is very dangerous to put celebrities up for the interview. Schwarzenegger and Cumberbatch worked. Lucas was horrible. You cannot be at Monza and not acknowledge the fans, especially with a Ferrari on the podium. It was quite funny how all the drivers just ignored him.
These interviews, probably that’s part of the whole new world of F1, to have celebrities interview the drivers. I mean, in case of Sylvester Stallone, at he made a great movie (sic) about racing. But who are they trying to please and/or attract? A younger crowd? If so, who’s next? Justin Bieber? Bert and Ernie?
