Amazingly, it is two years since there was a live Audience with Joe. The last was in Melbourne in 2020 and since then we’ve only been able to have virtual events.
I am going to be hosting the first post-COVID live Audience with Joe at the West Beach Bathers Pavilion at 330A Beaconsfield Parade, St Kilda, on April 8. This is easily accessible from Albert Park and right on the beach, as the name suggests…
The event will start at 7.30pm so there will be time to get there after the last track action of the day.
For those who don’t know the format, it is very simple: you ask questions, eat, drink and (hopefully) have a good time.
Tickets cost A$70 a head and will not be available on the door, so if you want to come, sign up in advance, to avoid disappointment. Attendance is limited to make sure everyone gets the chance to ask questions. It is a great venue with great food and drink. To sign up for tickets, click here.
Yes, your event was essentially the last event I attended for two years… I literally just arrived home from the first public event I’ve been to since. Anyway, glad to hear that you’re resuming your in person gatherings. See you on the 8th 🙂
Will you have obe in Miami?
I haven’t had the chance to consider it…
Hi Joe,
Hope you can pull an AWJ together in Miami. I look forward to the chance to meet you!
I can heartily recommend this! I went to one of the London ones a few years back and it was an absolutely excellent night. Joe is fantastic company, there were some very interesting questions and if you’re even remotely into F1 you’ll have a great time 🙂
You are aware that Covid is only over politically, not medically! Cases are still at high level as are the dangers. Politicians have just decided not or report the figures any more.
If you subscribed to JSBM, you’d know I had that covered!!
Joe, the link doesn’t work for me. Not sure if it’s on your end or mine!
Joe, the link seems to be broken
It’s fixed
The link is not working
Says web page does not exist.
It is now!
This was a really interesting evening of discussions, questions and opinions, and totally worth while the entry fee. As it turned out, it was the only event related to the 2020 Australian Grand Prix that we got to, with Friday onwards being knocked on the head due to the start of Covid. My two twenty something kids, also avid Grand Prix fans, really enjoyed the evening as well.
I’d love to be there but it is a bit a trek from New Jerssey. Do you think you’ll be doing any Missed Apex podcasts this season? Those are always fun.

Hi Joe, the link doesn’t seem to work.
There was a glitch when I was flying. It works now
Just bought my ticket.
I went to your session in 2020 for the first time. So pleased that it is back again.
Some day, Joe, it would be great to have an event in Sydney (while you are in Oz) – for those of us who can’t make it to the AGP.
Hi Joe, will you be doing any more podcasts with Missed Apex? It’s been a while since your last one and I’m missing your dulcet tones.
Having GP+ back almost makes up for it though…
Yes. I will be
Hi Joe, are you planning to hold anything in the UK this year? I have been to the pre-season London event several times in the past which have always been excellent.
Yes
Joe I trust you had a safe and pleasant trip to Bahrain, and apropos of nothing but are we seeing an Andy Cowell issue or lack of Mercedes HPV?
Perhaps
Hi Joe,
Given you usually land in Paris from your out-of-Europe race trips, have you ever considered to host an audience in Paris ? Would love to attend one.
Thanks.
Not really…
I’ll have a think about it!
