A very early start this morning, driving north to Eurotunnel (so much more agreeable than flying in Europe) and then on to Woking for a day at McLaren, to see the the new Production Centre and catch up on the group’s latest plans. This will include Jonathan Neale (McLaren Racing), Anthony Sheriff (McLaren Automotive), Geoff McGrath (McLaren Applied Technologies) and Peter Van Manen (McLaren Electronics), with Ron Dennis also putting in an appearance.
Should be very educational. Then it is back to Paris tonight.
Wow, even in your jet set world this has got to be one of the more intresting days.
It’s a great facility. Wait until you see the plans for the applied tech business. Going to take over Woking at this rate (not a bad thing btw) 😉
Looking out for your report on that!
Joe you are one lucky…
Enjoy the day. I’m sure it will be very interesting. McLaren appear to have doable but ambitious plans.
I look forward to your posting.
Rumours are flying about regarding a Proton/Lotus takeover by the way…

Was I the only one that thought of the Young Ones, Motor Head and The Ace of Spades then?.. Even it there was no going to the station.
Lucky guy Joe.
Bet the drive on the UK side takes many times longer than the French part.
