An Audience in Melbourne

As is now normal, I will be hosting my annual live Audience for fans in Melbourne during the Australian Grand Prix weekend.

Audiences are private live events during which I answer questions on any subject relating to Formula 1. The events are driven by the fans and they usually go home with plenty of behind-the-scenes information about what is going on in Formula 1 – and why.

The Audience will take place on Friday, March 22, at 7.30pm at the West Beach Pavilion in St Kilda. This means that there is time to get there after the on-track action is over for the day. The venue is not far from Albert Park and one can either walk or take a tram from the circuit. The number of places are limited so that everyone can ask questions, while food and drink are available at the facility.

If you want to be certain to get a ticket, sign up now. They will not be available on the door. For more information, Click here…

  1. It is a bit of a stretch for me to make this one! However, looking forward to some online sessions once he season gets started!
    Have a good one!

  2. About the Midnight in Paris article a couple of weeks ago – the theme music was written and performed by French guitarist Stephane Wrembel in the style of Django Reinhardt (who is best known for his jazz recordings in the ’30s). Wrembel and his band perform Django’s music authoritatively, as well as their own jazz / world music.
Very much worth attending a performance if you get a chance – primarily in the US right now. He almost always includes Midnight in Paris in a set.

  3. Off topic but I binge watched Drive to Survive the other day and just wanted to say I loved your cameo appearance with Guenther! I see you speak Guenther’s language fluently 😉

  4. What I really want to know is whether Dr Marko consciously plays up the Ernst Stavro Blofeld comparisons, or if he’s just doing what comes naturally.

People have made jokes for years about underperforming Red Bull drivers being ushered to the ejection seat, but now Marko himself has used those precise words about the second RBR seat, presumably pour encourager les autres.

All we can do is hope that he doesn’t turn up in the Bahrain paddock stroking a cat of some kind…

  5. I believe Joe was the one who told us that Renault is staying in F-1 to sell Alpine sports cars. The dealers are going to have to hire security to keep customers from crashing through the showroom windows now.

  6. Is this blog closed down? This is the last post I can see besides a few on X. Did I miss some developments?
