This must be the worst year of car releases from a livery and sponsor perspective! Only the Williams and Ferrari look good. Hopefully the on track action will make up it.
Crikey not sure which team has the worst, most boring livery this year, however my top 2 worst liveries this year so far go to Manor at number 1 closely followed by Sauber. Thoughts fellow readers?
The iconic McLaren and Williams of the 1980s would suggest otherwise. If a sponsor wants to truly catch the eye, surely they will want parts of the car painted in their corporate colours? This certainly worked for several tabacco companies in previous era.
…..but nowhere on Channel 4’s website is the Manor to be found. Are C.4 serious about F1? It does not look it from their website. Apart from a press release about the GP’s they will be covering – nada, zilch, b**** al. Apart from the absence of F1 coverage, what a horrible primitive website it is too. BBC is doing a far better job with a live news feed from Barcelona. I can see C.4 being a disaster, worse than ITV, for those of us who remember the horlicks they made of their coverage.
Yes. Disappointing. I’m happy to give the switch to C4 every chance, and even make allowances for a probable lack of innovation this year due to the lack of time they’ve had to prepare, but to not even get a website up and running is very discouraging.
A raft of new technical hires ($$$$$$ outlays), No sponsors on the car (Negative $$$$$) and a bloated chassis package that is NOT helped by the color scheme.
Have you got a fav scheme yet Joe?
I like the fastest car… That is always the prettiest
Ugly. Ugly. Ugly!
How are you ever going to attract sponsors with a car that ugly?

Joe,
A lot of the liveries this season seem to have a dark tone to them. Are dark clouds looming ahead for F1 this season?
It is better for delivering sponsor messages

Except there would appear to be no messages to deliver.
There you go Ferrari, that’s how you do a decent colour scheme. Shame they seem to have lost their two sponsors from last year.
Am enjoying the “Escape to Victory” style overalls……
They’ll sell a lot of shirts at Silverstone!
It’s always tragic to see an F1 car with no sponsor

Looking at the colours on the Manor, I’m wondering if we’re going to see Pepsi as a sponsor?
At first glance I thought they were sponsored by Pepsi Cola… 😛
I was thinking Dominoe’s Pizza.

They will be eating Haas dust the entire year.
Manor’s livery resembles the Spirit Honda from 1983… hope that car isn’t as bad…
I find that the Manor livery on track looks fairly good. For some reason when it’s in the pits it looks a bit rubbish.
I find it quite nice. The colors and simplicity highlight the lines of the car. Well done Manor!
I think it’s a huge upgrade.
somewhat Ensign 1980. good luck anyway
